Honestly, I'm just rocking like a $10 Compaq one or something like that. I don't really get the draw for the really loud ones or the ones with rainbow backlights.
Also, if you've ever used Discord with someone who has a loud keyboard and doesn't use push to talk, you want to strangle them with a cord after about 10 minutes of clicking noises.

My old (2007) laptop’s keyboard died so I got one of them, then I threw my phone at it and got a real nice new monitor, and then I spilled tea on it an hour or two later for the coup de grace. Bought a shitty chromebook and returned it before Black Friday for extra money towards a nice gaming laptop. Think I quit video games entirely about a week later. Ty estrogen, seriously ty. Overall an unfortunate series of events and bad decisions.

You know what’s mildly annoying? Having every new person I talk to kinda flip when I tell them I’m 35. Ever single time. Hair stylist legit thought I was fucking with her. I’m learn gonna eventually to stop talking about it, but I’ve getting 22 a lot lately. Must be my healthy lifestyle. *chain smokes another cigarette*

The keyboard on my heavy ass gaming word processor... (I so regret not getting something lighter I’m carrying upwards of 30lbs every day between that, its charger, and my books. I am not a strong independent woman) has a red backlight when it’s plugged in the wall so that’s kinda cool.

I’m sure the collagen in my face is all gonna vaporize in a month or two. My theory though is my energy drink addiction I’ve had since 18. Lot of B vitamins in this one.

$34 price on back, eep. All the mentees got this for free 1st meeting. Kinda excited to find out what my top 5 strengths are. This guy believes it’s a waste of time to invest time on fixing his weakness and you should just supercharge your talents. I’m pretttty sure empathy / listening will be one or two of mine, but very curious on that others.

Like this. https://www.bastron.co.uk/shop/
Dynamic touchscreen displays with haptic feedback is prolly going to creep into the main stream as AI takes over and we spend less time classically typing and start doing other things. Or become more gestural and draw.

Every time I take an assessment test or a personality survey (we recently did one for work), I am almost straight across the board on every category.
Assertive? About halfway there, bud.
Analytical? Bout 50%, chap.
Agreeableness? You're about right on the fuckin line, make up your mind there, guy.
This has led me to believe all of these are either nonsense or I'm some kind of robot ... or a sociopath or something.

You are the rarest and best personality type. Well balanced and adaptable. I am sure u can be real assertive and decisive when u need to be. But it takes a dickbag to be that way 24/7.

What a nice thing to say, thank you. I'd never looked at it like that.

Who was the most manipulative person in our history?
Hanns Scharff : The Master Interrogator
https://i.imgur.com/iPrFyUW.png
The person above is a man called Hanns Scharff
In my opinion, this man was a genius. He was a German Luftwaffe interrogator during WWII, living in South Africa between 1929 and 1939 and just happened to be visiting in Germany when the war started.
What made him famous was his interrogation techniques. Scharff was opposed to physically abusing prisoners to obtain information. Learning on the job, he instead relied upon the Luftwaffe's approved list of techniques. What were his techniques?
It was a strange but extremely successful method.
What Hanns would do, was he would talk to the prisoners and treat them with kindness and respect and act as a good friend by sharing jokes, offering them homemade food items, and occasionally an alcoholic beverage. Hanns was fluent in English, which made it easier to manipulate many of his prisoners. Some high-profile prisoners were treated to outings to German airfields, tea with German fighter aces, swimming pool excursions, and luncheons.
Scharff’s best known method was by taking his prisoners on strolls through the nearby woods, first having them swear an oath of honor that they would not attempt to escape during their walk.
During these interrogations, prisoners would feel so at ease and comforted, believing that Hanns was their friend and enjoying their conversations that they would frequently reveal valuable information during a conversation without even knowing.
As a result, the Luftwaffe kept a vast collection of personal information about any pilot or commander from an enemy air wing in individual files.
Whenever Hanns had a prisoner that refused to say a word, he would use a genius tactic. He began by asking the prisoner a question he already knew the answer to, informing the prisoner that he already knew everything about him. Scharff would continue asking questions that he would then provide the answers for, each time hoping to convince the prisoner that there was nothing he did not already know. When he eventually got to the piece of information he did not have, prisoners would frequently give the answer, assuming Scharff already had it in his files anyway, often saying so as they provided the information.
These methods worked so well that Hanns was considered to be the best interrogator in Nazi Germany, and to many others, the best in the world.
In 1948, Hanns immigrated to the United State, where he gave lectures and consultations to U.S. Air Force intelligence officials and even gave lectures in the pentagon about his brilliant interrogation methods.
In an unusual turn of events, he became a world-famous mosaic artist. His work is seen at Epcot Center and in Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World as well as many other places.

He died on September 10, 1992, at the old age of 84.
Edit: It has come to my attention that there is a video of Hanns Sharff giving a lecture. This video is from 1984.
https://youtu.be/FrC07gMYXpg <---- very patriotic music and video. Glad it's not banned from FB and youtube yet. (for being nazi propaganda)
