A couple weeks ago, two guilds with similar goals and mindsets started working together in the interest of having fun, making new friends, and killing a few dragons. Pretty quickly, they realized that like the two girls Not_Mikeo posted about, they liked each other very much and decided they could do more, better, faster, and stronger together than apart. A real life reproduction of Not_Mikeo's image is below:

So, the leadership from Core and Paradigm Shift got together and said “What do we want to do? And how do we make this work?”

And that resulted in a Riot (credit to Rewl for this next one).

Fun and games aside, we came up with a vision and a mission that we think matches up with something the server wants, and needs. We are a guild that prioritizes "fun with friends" and a friendly, helpful atmosphere. Part of that fun is being a capable and competent raid force that can do any and all content on p99 while also giving time and space for small group content. We want to enjoy the great classic EverQuest encounters on p99 together and will be strategic in our weekly scheduling and target selection to ensure balance for our members. We also want to be a positive force on the server, being fair, friendly competitors with a high degree of sportsmanship.

So – come on down, get to know us, and come have fun in the riot. I can guarantee you will experience some of the best p99 personalities, the best Sky slot on the server, and all the raid content the server has to offer.

Webpage is still in process, but Arthion and Unicity are the new guild leaders. There are a mix of officers from Core and PS - and we've already had a lot of early success. We're super stoked about our efforts so far. We'll see what the next cycle brings!

It was definitely a fun YOLO moment. We were recovering, had a ranger say "I think there's only like 50 mobs left" and then went through one of the most chaotic fights I've ever seen. It was a personal highlight and a lot of our guys were saying that they think it was one of their favorite engages ever.

Funny enough, one of my favorite ever engages was a CT similar to yours. Engaged CT with A LOT of mobs up, slowly worked the 90+ trash mobs down, killed them all, got CT to 75% and then it quaked! Well played guys.

So I was in <Paradigm Shift> before the merge. I've always been a largely casual player. I only log in for batphones that work around my schedule, not the other way around.

If you're like me, <Riot> is still a fantastic fit. All they ask is that when you do show up, be on your game, ready to rock, and armed with all the consumables and clickies you can manage.

The leadership is constantly asking for volunteers to step up into play-making roles. Mistakes are made quite often in such situations, and you'll never hear an officer get upset with a less experienced player actively helping to get a boss dead. They do a great job of cultivating an environment that allows newer players (or players new to say...pulling / train ups / racing / etc) to learn the (sometimes) tricky mechanics.

So step up, join the <Riot> today!

I might be interested in joining. I've applied to one or two guilds at the moment but have not heard back from any of them.

I play a 51 Paladin who is currently inactive and a 37 Ranger that I'm actively leveling. I have plans upon hitting 51 to immediately start putting in work towards my Epic and probably MQ the Swiftwind part of it, and then start working towards a set of Thurgadin armor. In between that I may take some time out to farm Geodes on my Paladin and save money towards a Book of Scale so I can complete Fiery Avenger (I have SoulFire, Ghoulbane, and Deepwater Knights Faction maxed), but my Ranger is the focus right now.

I have plans to make alts in the future, a Bard most likely being the next one, but a Shaman is a consideration too.

I don't know if my schedule would allow me to raid with you guys considering I work on weekends, but I do want to run Hate, VSR (for a stone) and The Hole (for the hammer and Keeper of the Tombs) at some point, and if those are at least semi-regular venues for you guys, then I'm interested.

maybe make your discord server have some public channels?

like a lobby or Wtb-Wts? And maybe make some youtube videos! I don't see much

recruitment videos or montages of <Riot> on youtube. Anyways, just my 2 cent.

One of the best End game experiences of mine on the server. Old friends, new friends, I'm having fun. Top notch players and top notch content. First guild of mine on P99 where I've done every target except ST. Hafta hold out something. Thanks for the experience, Riot.
