Hey guys,

I want to apologize for /q'ing out after scout roll this morning.
I knew it was bad form, I did not know it was actually against the rules.
I understand why its rule, if everyone did that it ruins the system.
Today, I was waiting to roll before I left for work, true crackhead style.
I am sorry, it was a mistake, it will not happen again from me.
Thank you guys.

What were you going to do if you won roll? Call in sick, be late for work?

Sorry if this came across as an attempt at an excuse. It is not an excuse. There is no excuse.

I am not sure, probably would have been late to work for that bracer.

I will not be answering anymore questions on this topic. Thank you.

I think a 2 week suspension would be fair.

The truly penitent man would have posted this in RnF, and suffered the consequences. 2/10 would absolve again.

I'm confused. Its against the rules to log out after you roll at scout?

I know its a courtesy to help out afterwards, but there is actually a rule saying you need to stay and help "or else"??

The "rule" is that you have to abide by the terms of a player agreement, and the terms of the scout roll (http://wiki.project1999.com/Scout_Charisa/Player_Agreement) ...

... DO NOT say that you are obligated to help afterwards (or at least, not on the wiki):

PLEASE STAY AND HELP. This is not required but more of a courtesy. It's a 5-10 minute ordeal, dont be a salty loser, help the people who are one day going to help you in return. We all have real lives and sometimes you cant always stick around, but if you can, please do.

Of course, what's truly binding is the agreement made in-game, so if everyone at a given roll agrees you have to help, then you are in fact obligated to do so. Having not been to a scout roll in ages, I have no idea what the current terms of the agreement are, but I'd imagine they're probably the same as the wiki.

Yep, the goblin roll for the warlord is a mandatory fight in the agreement... Not the scout, it is really bad behavior through and frown upon by all

Lots of people zone or quit out. Who cares.

pigging backing on this thread ...

I was also an asshat on 5/21/19 @730pmish EST roll.

Over the last week I have stuck around for every fight I have attended, this time I had a discord server full of people giving me crap about being late to kael. I made a decision in poor taste to port out before the fight.

It was noticed. I was shunned in tells and will be happy to make my own thread in RnF to face the wrath.

I will also not be participating in the rolls for the next 2 weeks (self inflicted punishment).

Good Luck to all who attend!

I hate this roll. My warrior has been stuck at scout since November.

So its been a while for me, If i show up to a roll, win the roll, the people that are there will help with the kill so i dont have to bring my own group or anything?

Have had tools and nothing better to do for quite a while so maybe ill come hang out for this.

well, your idea of "getting crap" and mine may vary. I would put it more on the edge of teasing or giving me a hard time, not any form of requirement to show up.

How dare my friends want me to be a part of their open arena raid, shame on them!
