It should be fine. P1999 has a fair size international community and complaints about general latency are exceedingly rare. The internet is much-improved from its condition 20 years ago, and in truth the typical European probably achieves a better connection today than the typical American could have in 1999. Insofar as I know the P99 server is located in the eastern United States, so from western Europe you may not be all that far off anyhow, not substantially farther than some of the Americans who live in the western part of that nation.

It should be fine. I've played from Europe and Asia and tons of people play from Australia without issue.

I'm sure you'll be fine. I play from Japan, which is nearly as far from east coast US as you can be, and I have 0 latency issues.

My central/western European guildmates had the same ping I do living on the west coast USA. You will be more than fine.

And welcome! If you have any questions make sure to do a thorough forum search before you post as every question you have has been asked already.

EQ don't like lost paquets but it can cope with large latencies just fine...
