Hey all! I just stumbled across this project a few days ago and it looks and sounds great! I can't wait to get started! But I do have one question...
Is there another place to get the Titanium version cheap? I checked Amazon and the cheapest is (used) $59.00. eBay has one for $20. I heard someone here say they could get it for $3?
Which leads me to my next question... does a used copy work for the purposes of this project? Or does it have to be a new copy with an unused activation key?
Thanks for your help!

A used copy will work fine. :)

You should reach out to your network of friends and relatives. I'm sure one of your peers will have a copy they wouldn't charge you for.

Don't be an idiot.
Also, 20 dollars is kind of a steal. I've seen them go way higher.

Or you could just download it off the internet and burn it like everyone else did.

For the distributors. Not so serious for the "leechers" hahah :D

We would NEVER encourage that BIT of behavior! I'm absolutely TORn at the idea of piracy!

It's simple. If you get a bootleg of Titanium, you will singlehandedly cause the financial ruin of SOE. The fallout from that will have a significant impact on P1999 as all of the players on live will be forced to come here. Caveat emptor...

I'm having the same problem. Can't find one for less than 60 bucks.

I bought mine on http://www.half.ebay.com/
The prices varied ALLOT. I ended up getting a used copy for about $3 plus like $8 shipping. The rest were like $30 and up though.

because some people feel that purchasing any random version legally of EQ, then "patching" it to a certain file revision/version via BT is piracy?
