Best monk twink set (only tradeable & under 50k items)

Hey people ! If you had to start a new Monk toon, what would be the best twink stuff ?

2 rules :

All items must be tradeables
All items must be less or equal 50.000pp

[Expediency]

Given a budget that high I would be seriously considering the fashionquest implications of some of these choices.

Also this setup would be quite heavy for a monk but not out of the question

Velium Crystal Staffs pretty quickly lose to SoSs/the 15/25 uglyclub. It's somewhere like 30 for the break even. And IFS equaled them even earlier. IFS/dequip fists even earlier. I had all 5 leveling a monk. Crystal Staffs are much prettier and fun, but procs just don't count for that much. ~3.75dps with both at 100dex at their max proc damage.

There's a good one. Buy loot rights to robe (I spawned Brother, paid a 60war,cler,rogue,monk 8k. They rolled, was pretty fun.) Went to KC with 12 rubies. Payed for loot rights. Then MQed the Chardok one, 3k. It clicks at level, umm, 17 I think I did it. Switching it in and out with fungi is annoying, but 25% haste. (This is my second monk)

I wouldn't underestimate weight reduction. This is just from my feeling, but I think the +AC weight bonus counts over the cap. Monks who completely disregard it, especially with low ac gear seem like priests tanking. But even when I grouped with "twinks" on my first ok geared monk, I seemed to way out tank them at levels 20-40. I had IFS and like 14-16 weight. I roll 19-21 on mine now. I think that's a good goal if you have plat. Don't buy anything above 1.0 unless it's game changing, ie only fungi and weapons. It's not worth the small stat gains. There's other options.

But, of course, I could be wrong. I suppose I could do some parsing. My monk is 42 tho and this is probably of more interest at lower levels. And parsing incoming damage is easy but is so dependent on mob level. And slow as hell to get meaningful numbers. We'll see.

Iksar monks with black leather gloves look literally like the most bad ass characters Ive ever seen in everquest. Its a bummer the epic cannot be equipped as a fist weapon :(

So the moral to that story is, wear gloves that have that black leather graphic while you can.

I mean that is unless you're not a retard like me. Then go for stats or whatever.

I don't think YOU read what OP wrote. Only eyepatch doesn't fit the bill. For face slot, if OP only wants droppable, then its faceguard bentos.
