What's (not) up with Gunrich?

You have to find https://wiki.project1999.com/Gunrich for the https://wiki.project1999.com/Blackburrow_Stout_Quest quest. The quest text says "You might have to wait for a while for him to show up."

I've tracked MT on and off for over an hour. Does anyone know how rare this mob is, what path it takes, does it have PH's?

A quick forum search shows that he had the wrong faction and was fixed in 2013: https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97005 .... but then was reported by a random player as being broken (and perhaps a grain of salt should be taken with that report, since it wasn't in a bug thread or anything): https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1304938#post1304938

So it seems there's a chance he's legitimately bugged, and a chance he's just a hard to find mob (so hard that at least one other player thought he was bugged). Unfortunately the forum doesn't seem to have much more to offer, so while I lean towards the latter I can't say for sure.

But do keep in mind even the maps aren't pixel perfect: the EQAtlas guy drew amazing maps*, but once you start getting down to the pixel details on them you notice that some buildings and such are a little off ... so use the "X" as a guide and not an exact truth.

* except Freeport ... I think maybe that was one of his first and he was still learning? We couldn't even use it for the loc maps project because it was so off, loc-wise. But otherwise even that map was still pretty awesome.

I find him to be up all the time, his PH is a pather on the hill by the goblin camp. This pic was taken just a few weeks ago.

I found Gunrich by the big tree stump north of the tower (MT map #3). This was shortly after I killed an orc which pathed by that spot and continued to pass close by the tower. (This is not the only orc pather in the area.) So that may have very well been its PH.
