Petitioning a Surname Modification

Has anyone ever petitioned for a minor change to a surname? Once he's high enough for a surname, I'd like my ogre to have the surname McStaggers (but obviously the name filter will only let me do Mcstaggers, which looks less fun).

Is that something I can get fixed when the time comes?

I petitioned to get a 3 letter surname that I had on live but was blocked on p99. The staff answered and changed my name within 10 minutes. They were awesome as always.

Guides will help you with capitals or graves ` but it can take some time to hear a response though they have been a lot quicker lately.

That's great to hear. I took the drunk-looking face for my ogre specifically because I intended to name him Tipsey McStaggers. Otherwise, what's the point? :)

With their name purge they did a while ago for technical violations to the naming policy, I highly doubt they would approve this surname if it's presented to them up front. They might even hit you with a namechange on the spot if they see your name in a petition.

I can only imagine they let the worse names off simply because they weren't being reported / brought to their attention

If they don't want a name that sounds like the character comes from a long line of alcholics, they shouldn't have that drunk face for ogres :)
