Hello, I (Tseuqreve) and my wife (Minimay) ((also a verified streamer if this helps?)) were told on discord we needed to request an IP exemption here on the forums -- Since we will both be LAN connected to the same network. I am an old vet player and she is brand new never played, we just made our accounts the other day but haven't played or made any characters yet.

Can you please advise on what you need us to provide to get this accomplished? I'm not sure if it matters, but I personally had planned on having 2-3 accounts for my toons to raid with in the future so I can let guildies use my accounts, is this allowed? I'm pretty sure I've read that it is... But I wanted to make sure.

You want to post here: https://www.project1999.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25 (and pick IP Exemption from the drop-down when you do of course).

As for the rules, they're pretty straightforward: one human per server at once (no other rules ... well, see https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=325349 for all other non-IP server rules).

6. You may not have more than one client running per real life person playing on Project 1999 (Boxing).

You can play on Blue and Red at once, you and another human being can both play on Blue at once, etc. ... as long as there's never one human playing 2+ accounts on a server, you're golden (with or without an IP exemption BTW ... it's 100% legal to use a VPN while you wait for your exemption IF you follow the one human being rule).

Sharing accounts is discouraged by the staff, because they get to see what happens when it goes wrong (someone shares an account with someone they were sure they could trust but then ... bad stuff happens). They've seen that happen a ton, so they'll tell you not to share accounts ... but it's not explicitly banned, just a bad idea.

From that rules page I linked:

You are responsible for the people you let onto your account. Disciplinary action may be enacted upon your account even if you yourself were not responsible for any rule breaking. Do not share account info if you are not ready to deal with the consequences of someone else's actions.
