Does Cazic Symbol work on Paineel Guards

Just started doing Paineel (skeleton) guards on my Cazic worshipping shaman.

Does this work on them? Is this a viable OP strat for a class that can't fear innately?

anything that isn't immune to fear and is undead as far as i'm aware.

if you fear the guards,aren't they going to run very quickly into another NPC that will kill you? I thought you had to be careful about making sure other paineel NPCs did not see you attacking guards

It should work, you can charm undead guards so that should fear them. I haven't done paineel guards much but maybe pathing could be an issue? Does anything social there?

Some creatures that are slow or places where pathing is suitable it's a great strat. Spectres caves and spectral keepers in TT near ganak (you can solo pull them they don't social.) Add in jbb and it's really easy xp. There might be some other places it could be great solo.

It's great if you get a partner who can snare, slow mobs, or places where you don't have to worry about aggro roamers.

Sorry I was gonna clarify I meant to root them too so they cant get social aggro.

But did I hear something about rooted mobs fighting to the death?

Rooted mobs won't flee, so fear would be kind of useless. You can use the necklace to interrupt spell casters that are rooted, however.
