View Full Version : Non-custom content due/overdue for P99 timeline

With some talk of custom content, I'd like to try to gather up a list of actual additions to the game prior to the launch of Luclin which are still missing on P1999.

Things which come to mind:

--Two ships and routes in Ocean of Tears and possibly Erud's Crossing.
--Siren's Grotto revamp
--Essence Lens quest
--Light blue /consider

What about Vulak Aerr's "ring" event? Was that patched in just before Luclin, or just after? I know it was around there someplace but can't recall exactly when it was added. Vulak was taken out of the original game for awhile and remained disabled for some time until the "Ring" event was patched in.

More additions are very much welcome. Those are what I could think of off the top of my head.

Wasn't there a zone right off of Surefall. Some sort of jungle or woods? I remember I walked in there with my SK and a WilloWisp pwned the hell out of me.

EDIT: Jaggedpine Forest?

Although it came in much later for Gates of Discord, the Nedaria's Landing area was actually pretty nice and I feel fit with the theme of the old world even if there isn't a boat or anything there for the Abysmal Sea. It could honestly have the same NPCs as Jaggedpine and be fine.

Jaggedpine was a Luclin-era addition; Landing was Gates of Discord. Both fall outside of my purpose here. I'm looking for things that were added within P99's existing timeline, meaning prior to Luclin opening. Post-Luclin changes would be more appropriate for the custom content thread.

Checking the bug forum, we could add stat upgrades to remaining items which need them to the initial list.

Thylex of Veeshan and the Ring of Vulak event were added Feb 13, 2002 I believe.
