...when a classic EQ server is going to be brought up, and thousands of people eagerly await it and know exactly how it's going to be and what to do.

It's a historic moment, guys. In 1999, people had no idea what to do. In 2009, there were just a handful of early enthusiasts.

Oct 25 2019 will be the first time ever an EQ server is launched with a ton of people knowing exactly what to do. It wlil be interesting to see how it all plays out!

Tlp had familiar places anf names but not even a rabid fanboy would actually believe they were "classic content." They were full of modern mechanics and quests and gear and UI, etc.

I played for 6 years on live. Went away for a few years then came back to blue a couple weeks ago. Still get rather lost and confused LOL.

There is a lot to the classic I had forgotten. Relearning things all over again. Loving it!

Not to mention, in a lot of instances, the zones weren't even recognizable.

There were also a million bugs and broken things. Bards were unplayable until March 2010...

This is truly a 2nd chance at Eden! :)
