I'm just curious as to peoples longest video game session, not necessarily EQ. But since Kunark dropped I could sware some people haven't logged off.

I did a 72 hour LAN once (that was brutal!)

Whats the longest you've stayed up gaming?

My longest was 27 hours camping JBoots. That's the longest I've ever stayed awake at one time, for any reason.

It was at the end of July, 1999. (A two-day public holiday here, so that's how I remember the date). The Drezlna camp was respected as a wait-in-line camp on Innoruuk, at least on the day I went, and that's how long it took for 6 pairs to drop. I slept for 13 hours straight after that.

mine also was around the 70 ish hour mark ( it could have been a bit more or a bit less lost track of time after a while ) , camping stormfeather, that camp was brutal.

About 30 hours camping Stormfeather on Fennin Ro server. Ironically, I happened to look away when he spawned and I soon realised he was pathing all around the island. After a quick /disc duelist I killed him on my rogue, seconds later a ranger arrived, he was probably pissed.

Just did about 30 hours straight, mostly in KC, last week. I don't know how or why but over 2 whole levels and 2 Ringed Maces of the Ykesha later I was a very happy and exhausted warrior. I don't think that I ever did that back in the day on live.

I think that my closest gaming binges to that had to be playing through Mass Effect 2 right after beating Mass Effect and similarly playing through Baldur's Gate 2 right after replaying Baldur's Gate.

Back on the nameless when BoD finally cleared VT, stayed up all night and waited out until AHR and her final mobs popped the next day.. Can't remember when we finally logged off. But we definitely had a few people calling in to work IRL...

Nothing major. 24+ hours a couple time. Longest was probably a time I had been on all day, ran a raid with my guild that night and then around 2am or so I got a tell from another guild saying they were losing their raid leader and needed someone who knew how to run Fear, so I stayed on to help them finish up... then did a Phinny Run with my guild the next morning.

48 hours straight after Tholuxe Paells came up, I had slept, I had coffee (in the absence of Red Bull) and I had a blast. Would have liked to have been the first shaman to 60 but sadly there were those who took on a rotation system and got there quicker :(

That said, I did make a small fortune in SoW pots :D

If I remember correctly it was about 35-40 hours straight on live. Me and a friend got in tables in PoF and grinded out 66-70 when the cap was increased. Stonebeard might remember better, we did it on LAN.

I did almost 60 hours mass killing Oasis trying to get Cazel to spawn for a guildies epic back in the day. Yah, we were stupid. :)

48 hours straight when we were trying to figure out how to do VP for the first time.

Before that was the first fear run where some necro desided that fearing an imp was a good idea when we first zoned in . That Was also the most challenging as we had to brake fear Naked wielding finesteel longswords just to get everyones corpses back.

Urgh, the painful memories
He was indeed brutal with his built in randomness.
I sat on that hill for 35ish hours, became disillusioned thinking i had missed him pop during a microsleep where the brain just shuts down for a few seconds.
When he finally popped i was almost in a coma but somehow got filled with adrenaline, guild was doing Hate, I decide to join... and fall asleep x-hours later on a wall.

My GL ports me to Great Divide after they're done and stays at wiz spires until i wake up protecting me from roaming mobs, thats how you create bonds!

This sounds about right... I know it was at least 30-40hrs straight before we realized we needed to take shifts playing so we wouldn't loose our camp!

I don't think I ever went back to Fire Tables again after that... But probably my Favorite camp in the game, too bad I ruined myself on it.

I did 56 hours on Baldur's Gate 2 PC, and 52 hours on Civilization 1 for PSX. Everquest, maybe 40 hours tops. Straight, without any kind of a nap or brain shut-down.

My longest stretch was back during Luclin, i pulled a 3 day stretch. (I couldn't tell you exact hours, i just remember 3 day/night cycles happening outside.) The joy of being a kid and it being summer time. lol

The most i ever pull now is 24 hours, and i usually feel like complete shit the next day.

There is also the time i sat in front of Target for 24 hours to be the first in line to buy my Wii. Sat out there with like 10 friends, was really fun.

Longest time at a single camp, Maiden's Eye camping VT key pieces. Between 18-20 hours and we only got 2 shards. Longest stretch total, over 24 hours. I don't remember how long i was actually logged in but I remember I killed phinny 3 times + got the skull from the Drolvarg Warlord in between kills. I don't remember being that tired but i was only 19 hehe.

EQ live for sure was my longest. The first weekend of Kunark launch I woke up for school on friday morning, skipped school and played until sunday night. I was like 15 and that sort of thing would be impossible for me now.

I was playing EQ in college, and came across a horrible little drug called meth, that doesn't combine well with mmo addiction rofl.

Did 37-50 in KPC in 1 sitting, forget exactly how long, but it was a few days at least.

I remember on live waking up at 5 AM to snag the best exp camps (Highkeep and Paw come to mind) and not leaving till dinner time, so maybe 13 hours or so was common for me on weekends.

Although it's difficult for me to do even 6 hours today, I long for the day when RL obligations stay away long enough to allow me to do a 24 hour grind session. Would it be sad if that remains one of my nerd goals in life?

Outside of EQ, the entirety of my 9 hour work days are spent on the computer, and multiple times a week I'll go home and spend another 6 hours animating or something. So 15 hours a day (minus short breaks here and there) on the computer is pretty normal normal for me. At least when I'm not doing that, I'm outside

I spent something ludicrous like 39 hours at the Ghoulbane camp.
I finally got the 3rd one that dropped and swore I was gonna take a break and go outside.

I took a long nap in the backyard hammock and went right to Lower guk.

I held the record on Bristlebane server on my druid... It is a bit of an obscure record, but a record none the less.

It was 72 hours straight (3 day weekend) at PoValor pulling outer cave on my druid.

Needless to say, I never play druids on the Emulator. I played one on live for way to long.
