What is the loot culture on P1999 in Pugs?

tbh i think for most things it will be need rolling over greed rolling except items like HBC, Rubi pieces (maybe), etc

Mostly greed rolling in pugs, once in a while people might be willing to allow need loots but don't expect it in a pug. Based on blue anyway, at the lower levels (under 20) need is more prevalent, with increasing valued items there's an increase in simple greed rolling.

I was gonna say that NBG isn't common, but thats really jsut for particularly valuable items.

I do recall on blue and even red that people were generally ok with need before greed.

Tip -- Always Establish rules at beginning of camp. To reiterate what others have said, Do not ninja loot. Guides are active on P99. They're good, too. Ive witnessed them swoop in on exploiters (see video in my thread history).

You should converse with your party before assuming any loot style, leveling camps might go NBG. You also need to factor in the value of the items that drops: A Lute of the Gypsy Princess will probably go to the bard, but the group is going to want to roll on a Hooded Black Cloak.

Pretty much every high-level or valuable camp is going to be Greed first, though.

This is the correct answer. Droppable items are valuable to everyone, not just the person who can wear it. Do not assume need before greed on rare or valuable items in pugs.
