I wouldn't mind it as much if every city had a quest or two that was that good. I got an orange from the 10 beetle eyes quest in Neriak at level 3 but that definitely wasn't worth the effort.

Logged in to Qeynos, did the watch report quest to level 2 with a bunch of other people, thought Anehan would go postal since he wasn't trusted.
Then went to the newbie yard and every spawn point was camped by at least one person! Someone was advertising they'd sell your stuff for 1 gp so you wouldn't lose your spawn point! Still being poor, I ran around collecting the fire beetle legs no one wanted, and went to QH.
QH was similar to the newbie yard, except many of the wandering spawn points were not known. I found a low and a medium bear hide that was left on a corpse, and looted enough to have the gp to get the boots and belt from Cindl. Finally found a nice spawn point near Surefall I could camp, died to a few level 3 mobs, died to a bear in Surefall Glade, explored the sewers and died to a rampaging dread zombie, twice, and somehow made it to level 3.
