For Green to be split into 4 servers? How much more expensive would it be?

Let's pretend for a second that everyone was on board with this, how long would it take to get those extra servers online?

I know a lot of people don't like reading, but if the few of you that can still read could contribute to the topic of what it would take, and not the tangent of "should they do it".

They only need 1 more server IMHO. If that would half the population in each zone it would be a much better experience. In the long run if pop dies down they already said they can merge.

all I know is the god awful gameplay has killed alot of hype

looking for 50 minutes for a single blue con to kill is simply an exercise in frustration

it gets even worse when you leave the newbie zones with the increased spawn rates

A good third of the people playing right now are tourists who are trying to minmax their nostalgia but will be gone from the server after two months no matter what happens because it was never their intention to make it to the end game.

I'm not that familiar with what I presume is an on-prem server that is being used to run green 99, so I was hoping if anyone with better knowledge would be able to tell us if you can just split the resources in 4 and everything is fine, or if there are some scaling issues and the need for additional hardware/resources.

It'd be fairly easy to duplicate if it was an Azure/AWS instance, but I presume it isn't.

Yeah, I haven't been here for even a year and I can tell that this sort of info from above is rarer than a gnome warrior. Might as well just google "servers" and cost compare. I wonder if they virtualize them...
