Fully self aware. Not the first time, and definitely not the last. An evil presence all around, but this was nothing new. This was tranquility. Feeding off my immortal energy for yet another night. Should I continue in this state or save my energy for the next day. I choose to stay. I choose to battle. My mood quickly changes, I know what I must do. I release some energy and call my spear from above, they back off. They weren't expecting me to be aware tonight. So weak, so pathetic. Until another night.

Waking in my bed around 3:00am like always. I go downstairs, turn the light on in the kitchen and the TV in the living room to ease the mind. A nightly routine. Something feels different though, something feels unsettling. The light in the kitchen does not turn on, is the power out? I steadily walk to the lamp near the couch I lay on after coming downstairs nightly, but it does not turn on. I know exactly what is happening. I struggle to wake myself up. This was different from the countless times before. Everything was much more clear, no foggy borders. Upon waking up, a little shaken I walk downstairs again for my nightly routine. The kitchen light does not turn on again. I walk over the the couch lamp. Nothing. Here we go again. I pull myself out, I thought this time, this time is reality. I brush my feet along the carpet as I leave my room. It feels too real. This is reality, I'm certain. I walk downstairs, skipping the kitchen light and on a direct path to the couch lamp. Click... Click... Click... Nothing. The unsettling feeling overcomes me, I look at the U-shaped stairs. Nothing. I stare for an unknown reason knowing it's a bad idea. I see it. Bobbing walking down the stairs slowly never breaking eye contact. This isn't fear, its pure terror. It shouldn't be though. This is nothing new. No matter how many times I see, the feeling is always the same. It's the eyes. Those eyes... Seconds go by as it comes closer. I wake up buzzing and vibrating stronger than normal.

Sounds like sleep paralysis or lucid dreaming to me. I would say it's more in the lucid dreaming category. Not like the episodes I've had which are just full on sleep paralysis without all the dream imagery.

3:00am is the time when spiritual activity is at its highest. It's a time when the subtle becomes more pronounced. You might have spirits tugging at you.

Strange that you mention buzzing and eyes. I almost never have nightmares but when I do i'm never scared and i'm also invincible for some reason. No fear or pain, ever. Its not something I choose since i'm not lucid dreaming, it just happens. Things occasionally try to attack me, but I hold my ground.
And one night I experienced something different. I was in my bathroom and it was pitch black and I heard three knocks on the door. And when I opened it this face got as close to mine as possible with the loudest jump scare you could imagine, but I didn't react, I just looked at it fearlessly and without even a hint of flinching, but awaken immediately. And when I was awake my body wouldn't stop buzzing. The dream was only a few seconds but i'd never experienced anything like it. And when I experience "real paranormal phenomena", even reading about it, my body does the same thing, just not as strong as that night. Like your second comment for example.
And if you want to know some of the beings we deal with then watch this guys channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D2hL2uB6w4 - They're called jinn and they're beyond our visible spectrum. And whether or not you want to call them jinn, spirits, ghosts, E.Ts, collective unconscious, aspects of personality, etc, doesn't change the fact that the phenomena is real. The new age channelers think they're talking to angels for example. Nor does it mean that those other "beings" don't exist, but most of them are jinn. And its where the concepts of the "Genie", Ifriti, ghouls, etc, comes from. And their strongest weapon isn't physical possession like you see in movies, although that can happen, but its the power of suggestion without you even realizing where its coming from. Persistent whispering, thoughts, etc like the devil on your shoulder, except they're literally in your body. But there's alot to say.
