Game wont launch saying the above file is incorrect. (Blue server) how can this be fixed? The file isn't missing, eq is saying its the wrong version..date on the file is sept 24, 2019. Have no antiviruses running

ok, im guessing you know a lot. then, how do i get the proper dll? as well as shutting off this hidden firewall/antivirus?

Basically, your firewall or antivirus is blocking your unpacking of that file. Its a well known issue that th dsetup.dll file is flagged by antivirus and will cause either your game to not start or the file to not be allowed unzipped.

You will need to re patch with your stuff disabled. I can't really help you on that since I don't know your setup or software.

ok..patch available..thank u. i dont have any aftermarket anitvirus programs. Your saying i still do even though i didnt install any..so im guessing this means you are refering to hidden win 10 software that im not familiar with. its just odd cause ive been playing blue for 3 years now and never messed with anything firewall wize or antivirus

Regular windows antivirus will quarantine the setup.dll file instantly you need to whitelist it then restore it from quarantine

I had the same error and that v52 file fixed it for me. That's the latest spell patch update so if you don't have it then make sure you extract that to your sony file to replace the older files in there. You also then need to pull the shortcut launch from the sony file after the extraction and launch the game with the new launch icon instead of the previous one you used.

It could still be anti-virus causing the issue but you would get that same error message if you have not uploaded those files since they came out which I think was right around greens launch.
