So is there a way to not have your UI so small it's unusable on a 4K monitor?

I tried using the Grimlock4K UI and it's kind of jacked up. Can't get my bag slots to surface and the hotbutton window is cut off.

Looking to resurrect my druid on Teal again and this is rather discouraging.

I played for a bit EQ on a huge screen, all you need to do is adjust the ingame resolution and stretch the windowed program.

That doesn't stop the UI from being microscopic. I can switch to fullscreen and things get readable but if I alt-tab out when I go back they are tiny again.

Play fullscreen is one option.

But as my edit above, that is not stable. :-/

Ah.

Lower desktop res to 1920x1080? :(

Others hopefully have better ideas because that would suck.

I had similar issues and found wineq2 the best solution.
I ended up paying for the premium one as that does emulated borderless window mode. Thats the ideal setup for me and the program does that flawlessly. That way you can run the game in any res (as long as the ratio is same as monitor) with fullscreen and no issues/delay in clicking out/swapping monitors.

use wineq to launch

set eqclient.ini settings for wineq to 1920 x 1080

use this setting

Using /viewport gave my fullscreen basically perfect stability when alt-tabbing. Previously I would get render fails quite often, but I refuse to play in windowed. Maybe this would help your issue as well.

Well EQ crashed, rebooted, and now every time I try to go to full screen it just minimizes. THAT'S annoying.
