Just remove the dam thing from green and real now instead of when its suposed to be remove. That will eliminate all this cry baby bullshit by a bunch of manchildren.

No one's forced to do these insanely long camps for these items.

It's not like they are essential to playing a class. Whatever pain manastone is causing is self inflicted by the players who so desperately want one.

The pixel sickness is an unfortunate affliction indeed.

Each time a manastone drops, the drop rate should halve. See how long until people catch on.

Best solution:
fix the drop rate, make spawn agro on #1 list holder after about 10 seconds if not engaged.

real fix for manastone is to make the area around manastone arena style pvp enabled.

Make an epic quest for manastone instead of a drop. Something easy for an appropriate level, but designed to take numerous hours of non-consecutive game time. Running to NPC's in OoT and other out of the way places, collecting 50 fine steel rapiers, crap like that.

Will test everyone's patience but not their health.

90% of the people playing want a manastone

Alfred: With respect, Master Wayne, perhaps this is a man that you don’t fully understand, either. A long time ago, I was in Burma. My friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never met anyone who traded with him. One day, I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.

Bruce: So why steal them?

Alfred: Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Alfred's an idiot who can't comprehend the idea of someone disrupting British efforts to bribe local leadership with gems the British stole from the Burmese people in the first place. This dude didn't "just want to watch the world burn," he wanted to protect local autonomy against foreign influence, and in so doing distribute the people's wealth among the people.

But then the Nolan Batman series is pro-authoritarian capitalist propaganda all the way through, so no great surprise there.

As for the manastone?

All the hype around it is all about the imaginary prestige. This thing won't work in planes, it won't work in kunark. Grats on your ability to have extra mana when fighting Vox / Nagafen I guess, but that's the limit. Just... chill your tits, people, it's not a big deal.

Why not just give the manastone to anybody on the list every 12 hours? Let them no life for half a day and guarantee the item as a reward. Actually, let's just do that for any item in the game. Adjust wait times based on item commonality or rarity. I don't want to play the game, I just want to sit in line for rare items.

If you /list and log or leave the zone before getting a manastone, you should automatically lose 10 levels worth of exp and skills, as well as any memorized spells.

It’s not hardcore enough.

Disagreed, they'll just gravitate to the next most desirable 'competed' camp.

Manas tone is an effective sump.

The real fix is to stop making a post every day about the MS list instead of using the already existing threads

Like this one? You're either going to camp it, in which case why do you care, or you're not, in which case why do you care?
