Obviously people have noticed this. I didn't see this in any of the patch notes. This makes playing my necro pretty silly unless I want to take the time to set up GINA timers, which I don't.

What is the reasoning behind this?

Makes dot classes boring, imo, when any other damage spell in the game shows the damage.

Next patch: Queued tells and item links removed! Not classic!

If pick-and-choose QoL regardless of classic or not, why do they keep removing things from the game that only make the game more tedious like pet window, abil bar slot count, exp penalties, and pet window?

If you're a casual player, you can't even choose the race/class you wanna play because of the exp penalties, alone. If you're a pet user, 4 of your 6-slot ability bar is just full of pet macros and you need to spam pet report health more often than a bard twisting songs.

Just like it would be tedious to not have queued tells or item links, a simple bar to show pet hp isn't going to destroy anyones gameplay experience. If anything, it'll improve RL wife faction since we don't have to brainlessly tap a button over and over during a fight for report hp.

Ugh, I hope they never figure out how to remove item links. Item scroll in EC would be even worse to read than it is now.

Queued tells are funny thing. People still say "zoning" or "zone" in a back-and-forth conversation, but why? Many people forgot that, originally, it would say they are OFFLINE if you /t them while zoning. So you'd give them a warning so they don't think you went offline on them mid-conversation.
