This is pretty lucky, two weeks ago I spent 17 hours at the camp at #2 and 5 at #1 without a drop.

I joined at #4, got mine 7.5 hours later and feel pretty lucky. I've heard of people going 20+ hours, and one poor monk had around 12 earrings of disease resist before getting boots.

Similar experience to others.

Day 1: /list for ~12 hours, nearly all of it at #2. A single pair did not drop and the guy ahead of me did not see his until later after I dropped, making his total camp like 20 hours.
Day 2: Joined in the early morning as #4, and got mine like 8 hours later along with everyone else (no drop outs, each person ahead of me got a pair).

On live, I went from #6 to looting boots in 27 hours. Never will do a session like that again.

I did play through to 5 am one time so our whole group got Borxx and a Staff of the Observers.

I was a lot younger in 1999 and couldn't do that sort of thing again.

Feel like the only way to get these things as a functional adult is to work a job where you can have a laptop going in the background while you work. Nowadays the best I can get is like 5-6 hours straight if I decide to not sleep and be a zombie next day.

I can not sleep for like 2 days 'cause I'm a bit crazy, but I can only do camps like this on weekends. I do actually need to go to work like a normal person. My personal life has been suffering considerably since green came out.

2 people gave up during my camp. The AFK checks are necessary, but make the camp so much worse than it would be otherwise. The lack of feedback when you have to do "/list afk [####]" gets extremely stressful after a long time on the list. Average of 4 hours per boot drop, with a couple of 7 hour stretches.

I honestly don't feel like these people are using honest/legit methods. Unless you're abusing amphetamines or having a bipolar manic episode - you need to sleep. Some people saying they're doing like 60+ hours or some shit for manastone. They must be account sharing, screen sharing, or something like that and apparently it's not against the rules...

The ones that come on laptops with no power plug make me laugh "i only have 2 hours left of battery"

its better to level a shaman to 50 and do alc, make awesome potions then actually camp jboots, and u could probably do it faster, atleast to sow pots faster. and you'd have a 35 shaman.

oh getting my jboots has nothing to do with being faster than anyone, just faster then regular walking. and limit my interactions with other players on the server. i rather spend 26 hours farming to never talk to an antonican for sow even if it means im slightly slower than sow speed.

Talk about not getting it. Wanting to play with those individuals we deem fun to be around doesn't mean we should all want to be in every random pickup group w/ random people. I bought the game in the store and first few expansions, no where on the box did it say group play required or even recommended, that's all in your head.
