Dear Players on Green,
I am sure many of you are excited to relive some of the classic raids and are anticipating their release. Based on staff posts it is estimated that Fear will be released on January 3rd. <Seal Team> would like to invite the players of Green to join us in reliving this amazing classic experience!
There is no level requirement to join the raid or roll on loot, however, it is likely you will need to be level 46 to zone in and participate.
The following items from the raid will be distributed via Seal Team's loot list system.
1) BladeStorm
All other gear will be /random using a NBG priority system.
<Seal Team> will continue to host monthly open raids for each tier of content.
Best,
Phatez

So Nilbog posted back in Oct with this little diddy...........
Are we or are we not adhering to actual timeline progression......?
"The server will then progress through all patches on the same timeline as Everquest's original launch, all the way up to the last patch in Velious. This means that based on an October 2019 launch date,"
https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=333743
Also this does not show fear release on Jan 3rd:

I am confused on the basis of your question. In the post he also listed Jan 2020 as lining up with the Fear release. Fear was released 2 months or so after classic was released which is why it’s being released in january here.

is that lustrous russet gear in ?
It should drop if the mobs are itemized correctly based on the timeline. We will likely see it 8).

Fear didn't release until July 1999 (technically late July). They stated the December 2019 patch was the May 1999 timeline, so if they are keeping with that, it should be Feb. 2020 for July 1999. Since they are doing the first friday of every month of that entire month's content, you'd assume the first Friday in Feb would be PoFear Era (Feb 7)

How Joaquin Phoenix not have TV in his mount? He got millions....
If it's like classic it won't have a level limit on it for a couple weeks... maybe just in case some kind min level or you are going to have bunch idiotic level 1 ogres running around who will give no fucks what happens on the raid.

That was how my math worked out too, but I guess it's all up in the air since that patch was maybe late?
Whenever it does drop, I am excited to have something to do every 6 hours until Russet is gone. Kinda.

Note: You can zone into Fear at 46, but on an open raid you would be a fool to not get 47 or at least 46.5 before doing so.

On any raid really, open or not. I'd personally prefer to be 50 and have as many 50's as possible, that aggro range in the planes is a bitch.

AKA, i want raids to be as easy as possible so i can get uber loot with the minimum amount of effort.
