I'm using the correct country code, but it just doesnt allow me to proceed, what can i do about this?

I would guess that it may not support international country codes?

Just a guess though.

You can just register a number on google voice (https://voice.google.com/) or any of the free sms apps like textfree (https://textfree.us/)
