STUCK ALT KEY

So i logged onto my computer one day to find that my alt key seems to be perpetually or otherwise randomly stuck on as right now I'm holding shift down just to type> sometimes i can type and it works normally but its rare< i reset my windows and problem persists in fact if i hadn't learned to hold down spacebar i would have been stuck at the so selection of grub unable to even choose windows over debian that i dual boot on my laptop normally> mind you windows is literally only on my pc to play eq so anything to solve this that destroys anything here on winbloat is fine with me only my porn collection will be temporarily dimished if anything> all my important data is backed up on hard drives elsewhere is what I'm saying> I'm about to check linux for the issue because if i can't type in a terminal there ill be in a lot of trouble however i am sure i can just block the key via a bash script or by editing a config file i honestly am just guessing but i bet the solution will be epically easier than here> anyway please help me im using some form of windows that i stole off the piratebay idk if it matters i can download another if need be> creepr out!

Are you asking me with extra sprinkles on top to troll you dickhead? what did you not understand about my alt key being stuck on, and generally having to literally hold down the spacebar to type even what i managed to type? Thanks to my general compitance and capability with puters I did manage to find a program to block specific keys though so it doesn't matter but try playing where the fucking computer goes from fullscreen to windowed every time i hit the enter key its banannas.. anyway thanks for generally being a fucking retard and since you "cant even read this" im curious just how simple kids are these days i mean english is english is fucking spanglish these days but your especially dim witted if you couldn't read my rambling nonsense i mena it drones in a amphetamine overtone yet is generally very understandable i don't know how to help you sir?

Either your keyboard is FUBAR or your just have an actual alt key stuck. Scrape the gunk that's got the key stuck or just pull all the alt keys out of the keyboard to figure out the culprit.

TripSin was just joking. :p He probably knows you can’t easily format a post with your Alt key stuck.

I think DMN may be on to something. Let us know if that fixes it. Laptop or desktop? Perhaps an external keyboard (or replacement) if the keyboard maintenance doesn’t solve it. I hope you can avoid those software workarounds...sounds hairy. Good luck.
