Following up from the locked thread here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=34909

I would like some clarification on the following:

"Uthgaard: It's not a raid target. It's not a group encounter. It's a single mob that can be soloed by anyone wanting it. If you want it, get in line yourself and wait, or buy it from someone else. But you won't be holding it for anyone or 'passing it off' to people anymore."

Is this a new rule going forward for all camps, or just the HS/Chancellor camp ?

If this is a new rule, please update the Camps, Define section to reflect this change.

Doesn't the first line of the whole post you cited a portion of answer this?

"Don't nitpick it or attempt to paint the decision with broad strokes and apply it to other camps."

I'm very clear with what Uthgaard is saying, other are not. I've already had discussions with other players, informing me that I can no longer save camps for other players/guildes and that players waiting at camp are now entitled to their shot at it.

This clarification isn't for me. It's for the dumb asses trying to use it against me.

You should clarify it for them by pointing out the first line of the post:

"Don't nitpick it or attempt to paint the decision with broad strokes and apply it to other camps."

I'm not spending all day on a camp dispute, no matter how much trouble you all have getting past it. Grow up.

Read the thread, the answers are in it. It was locked for a reason.

As for enforcing it, a lot of times it's he said-she said and everyone has an excuse. The average camp dispute takes an hour to resolve with logs, and even then it's still not a sure thing. And after that hour, everyone present will spam whoever made whatever decision with tells isolating single lines or words from the rules to try to twist the situation in their favor. You can't always break a camp dispute decision down into a single facet. It usually involves a comprehensive understanding of the situation, and in most cases, a lot of guessing over who's telling how much of the truth. And then following that, there's the infantile raging by at least one person who just can't let it go, and then if you suspend them to let them cool off, they'll just start spamming threads on the forums and wasting more time. By the time they've blown their whine wad, we're up to around 2.5 hours for a camp dispute. That shit is ridiculous.

Case in point. Every day, all day. I've said NUMEROUS times that claim to a camp is a non-transferrable right. Shit probably needs clarified better overall, but if you need to cling to the rules to get through the day, you need to take a step back and grow up. It's a game. It doesn't matter what uber pixels you looted if no one can stand you. But every day that I try to go through the petition forum to clear it out, all progress gets waylayed for the entire rest of the day, the moment someone has a camp dispute and wants to start lawyering it.

Just because you have hours to get hung up on it and cry, does not require us to spend hours wiping your tears. When we make a decision to resolve a camp dispute, those of you who choose to jump at opportunities to stretch technicalities of the decision, or look for ways to apply it to screw other people over will find yourself on a vacation. That pattern is coming to an end.

There is no reason for it. If some of you spent as much effort working out your problems on your own as you expend crying for an advantage over others, you would find yourselves having fewer disputes to cry over.

There is no simple and clear answer to every dispute, and we will not be harassed into arguing over your entitlement issues every hour of every day.
