I'm a little torn on whether I will continue to keep Hermeticism reserved for my shaman, or if it would be better applied to a monk. Catholicism is surely a warrior though.

I feel like warriors are more pure than soldiers. Who are more pure than pure fanatics and zealots or crusaders.

Can we truly judge Catholicism so harshly though? It elevated and enlightened my grandmother and mothers mother. Though there was great pain in it. It was perhaps not the most gentle means of enlightenment. It will perhaps one day pass on and we will be blessed by a better Christendom. I know we are in a state of transition away from Catholicism towards a more new age gospel. Until then, we seem to be beholden still to the ideas in the old testament and the literal interpretation of our modern language. But so has Bhudda, and the Hindu deities, as well as man human philosophers and scientists who in turn were guided by their own beliefs and religious experiences. If something good comes from all this it is that I hope to stop killing myself out of fear for others safety. Because I am a genuinely good person in Christs image, though flawed I am. I don't know. I am rambling. I don't even want to make these posts. I feel like it though. I am afraid I will get in trouble for expressing myself. There is a lot of love and goodness in the universe. I am willing to endure this hardship in order to move on and seek a new experience. necromancy isn't my 1st choice, but I feel compelled to put my effort into it. I don't feel bad. Exactly. People need to stop posting about it, make a spy char, join the guild, and report racist speech and behavior. Or submit screenshots of stuff from DMO chats. If such stuff exists, let it be reported. But to simply post what amounts to slander on these forums merely tarnishes the name of DMO without enabling GMs to take action against any alleged wrongdoing.

At least people aren't posting in the DMO guild thread anymore, and are keeping their posts to outside threads like these.

The orcs are consistently oppressed, discriminated against, and stereotyped as near-mindless subhumans. There's even a political screed in the game titled "The Orcish Problem". Half-orcs got the same treatment as orcs even though there was no difference in intelligence between them and humans. A half-orc labour organiser is one of the most eloquent NPCs in the game.

Elves and dwarves dislike each other due to differing philosophies of life and their placement on the Magic Versus Science meter (and magic and technology are actually opposed in this setting). While they're normally civil, the guards in Qintarra are very hostile towards dwarves. Elves and dwarves both dislike humans for their boundless ambition (which has caused no end of grief in the last several years), and orcs (because they're orcs), while elves treat half-elves with disdain. Nobody has a particular problem with gnomes or halflings, and half-ogres are only discriminated against in subtle ways (because pissing off someone that big is a really dumb idea).

Although from the video one of the DMO members posted awhile back I would say the P99 at large has no idea what RP is or can draw the line between fantasy and reality. Their responses were in the /ooc of the video. Truly the social media generation of self identifying with their character. [Posts Selfies]
