People try to set the prices of rare items arbitrarily high now since the super neckbeards with a surplus of these items have moved on to green. See the recent WTS very large coin purse thread for ex. (was 30k 12ish months ago).

Just because something doesn't drop anymore doesn't make it worth more. The RFS isn't even that great.

RFS is a collector item, a lot like the twig and probably won't ever really go above 50k.

For some reason it doesn't have the coolness factor of a BotBDE, a Mistwalker or something like that.
