Black Desert Free on steam ATM

For anyone that wanted to try black desert online but didnt want to buy it outright, the game is free atm, it isnt a free trail period either, you keep the game even after the event is over, gotta download it and log in atleast once.

Belong in offtopic, but as someone who has NOT ever played the game I watched some r people reviewing the game recently and the game can be generally summed up in:
Fast paced combat most seem to enjoy.
Ultra grindy.
Pay to win.
Excellent character creation and graphics overall.


Other than being grindy it seems a polar opposite of p99/EQ though.

I played the game for a bit. I enjoyed the game for the most part. The action combat spell casting was very fun. I just didn't enjoy the fact you pretty much had to spend $$$$ in order to not spend hours on looting (pets) and to have inventory space that is practical.

I tried to learn some of the more advanced mechanics, but it was way too complicated even after watching a couple hours of tutorials.

i quit because you cant turn off the war horns when guilds have a pointless war and the spam is nonstop even if you turn off all the crap.
