I have started on a new section for Kunark. I need HALP tho, I need the full names of all of the kunark armor sets (mrylokars, donals, cobalt, etc.). I could go get this info by myself, but I have not very much free time, and I don't even get to raid much if at all anymore, so please someone who isn't so constrained, please do the research for me (please do not list one set at a time, get them all and post them all, I will add them in the existing format). I also want to hear what the majority of posters want added as gear milestones for kunark. I also need all the haste items for kunark.

Also, the CLASSIC section will be CLOSING soon, so if there are any errors, misspellings, etc., now is the time to post. Rune etched is STILL up for grabs, since nobody has credibly claimed it yet, and I'm sure that indicolite is wrong. Someone say what's up please. Now is your chance, I don't want to be editing the classic section after the classic period. Thanks.

P99, while close, isn't exactly the same as classic either. I mean, it doesn't really matter imo, but it sounds like people are picking and choosing what counts and doesn't count. I mean, if DA wants to claim that they were the first ever in EQ history to kill OoA pre-kunark, more power to them - I'm simply pointing out that to get to that point you really have to put a lot of restrictions on what counts and what doesn't.

I doubt anyone did it on Live because there simply wasnt a guild of players who either mass-stormed eye with pets or tried to DA tank everything down. While both are viable tactics here, I can't recall anyone really using those 2 strats in a raiding enviroment a year after EQ was released...

If it was, I bet DA tanking would of been nerfed before Veilous as well as a change in pet dynamic.

Reasons for adding teh lulz:
#1.) Basically, they claimed on their website that they were the first people to ever kill OoA, and this was not qualified by saying "in classic EQ."
#2.) This is p99; this is NOT Everquest. This is emulated Everquest, which no amount of pretending by us can ever make it actual Everquest. Things happened on this server to make killing mobs different (some would say easier). The mechanics of killing mobs are different (some would say easier). Group and player functions are more well known at this point, and testing for the aforementioned differences is much simpler with todays technology, making how people go about killing mobs different (some would say easier). THEREFORE, comparing any group on p99 to any group on Everquest ridiculous at best, and in this case - laden with hubris. Chutzpah.

#1.) If any burden of proof is to be placed, it is certainly not on me, but on someone making a claim. I do my best to verify the information on this post, but you're basically asking me to prove every claim here wrong. Get lost.

I agree. I think Lammy and Wurmslayer should be on the list. Circlet of Shadow should be on the list as well. I don't think the individual Kunark armors should be server first (exception maybe for the BPs?) but the sets should be.

Server firsts for the Iksar SK Sword / Shaman Cudgel / Monk Shackle / Warrior Pike / Necro Cap quests. These won't be 100% done until velious. Spirit Wracked Cord is a post-chardok revampt quest that involves skilling up your chardok faction, doing 2 quests (with their own rewards) and then finally killing drusilla and trak and getting the Spirit Wracked Cords. This won't happen until chardok revampt, which is in velious.

Gear Milestones is kind of a catch all for things that are almost anything.. It is the place for things that are powerful, hard-to-obtain, look cool, or are just generally RAD that are not already covered in the other sections.

Please add more suggestions for this section.

Pre-Nerf CoS is so ridiculously common that it has no business being on a list, the item drops all the way until velious release. It was a junk lore item people let rot or destroy on live while camping for the idol of the thorned, it only became valuable LONG after it stopped dropping.

It has nothing to do with holding the camp or anything, I wasn't there, so you shouldn't go there either. It's not an achievement to hold the camp.

The item gets nerfed, the item is good, the item was valuable, the item is unique, the item was collected. Same goes for Rod of Annihilation.

Here are the items that aren't on the list I personally feel should be on it, if anyone else wants to support them or not it's perfectly fine by me. :)

Circlet of Shadow - Was a big money item back in the day, gets nerfed, has a game breaking ability for the classes that can use it.
Rod of Annihilation - Stops dropping altogether, valuable, relatively difficult to attain.
Gem Encrusted ring - on the original timeline I think it gets moved to a harder mob and eventually starts dropping altogether?
Necklace of Superiority - Little iffy about this one, eventually gets moved to a harder mob, but is never removed from the game.
Sebilis key - Howling Stones key is on the list, and there was interest in tracking keys so why not? Slightly Easier to attain than HS key, far easier to obtain than VP key.
Locket of Escape - AFAIK this item never stops dropping, but allows melee classes the ability to bind? Fairly rare, but an easy camp.

Also I'm curious, can anyone confirm that Spirit Wracked Cord is even Kunark era?

Are there some high end VP drops that we're missing as of now?

Edit: Moss-covered twig - Rare, later nerfed and changed to a different item, game breaking.

Pride of the Legion requires a revamped Droga, the npc doesn't exist in the current p99 version of the zone.

I don't have any patch notes to prove it, but I think the farthest one that would be doable on p99 would be the 4th - Trooper's Pike or possibly 5th - Legionnaire's Mancatcher.

I don't think the Bloodgill Goblin Scavengers are spawning for the 6th pike/mancatcher quest since I didn't see them in a few days of hunting bloodgills. I'm also not sure if the Goblin/Sarnak Messengers are spawning in LOIO, WW, FM, and OT (also for 6th).
