Fix the login servers

Can't log in, crashing on log in, crashing on zoning, and hearing that multiple people are having similar problems

One thing I did to fix the crashes and such is running EQ in Compatibility mode (WinXP SP2) asks Run as Administrator.

This is happening to me as well. Haven't found a solution as of yet but I'm getting client crashes, blank server screens, freezes when logging in... really getting annoying.

I made all the adjustments you have suggested, i still get crashes, i don't know if it's a windows 10 thing. The biggest issues for me are in the Overthere tunnels, and when i zone into Neriak (where im bound), the game freezes up 50% of the time. I've already made posts about it, nobody from P99 ever addresses it, there may just not be a fix because they do not have very stable servers period. Maybe one day they can upgrade to stabilize things and make things run more smoothly.

Then again, P99 has been up for like what, 10+ years? So yeah, doubt they will ever do anything to upgrade the performance of the game.

The login servers are not controlled by P99.

I've ended up having to use p99-middlemand which can build under Windows.

ive been playing for a few hours tonight...then i had to /Q for a quick exit....now it tells me an unknown issue stops from entering the server ......any advice ? i restarted and shit down computer and get same message
