How rare are Guardian Leggings?

Curious to hear from those who farm Skyshrine on the regular. How many mobs do you have to kill, on average, until you see a pair of Guardian Leggings (https://wiki.project1999.com/Guardian_Leggings) drop? Which mobs drop them?

All the pieces are fairly rare, but not so rare that you won't have a bunch of rots you don't want dropping to taunt you.

It took killing 250 Guardians to get the legs on my Red99 bard. One or two of each of the other pieces dropped during that time.

hunting for 1 specific drop will make it feel more rare. There is a pretty even rareness to all those drops. I've killed a few hundred mobs when I was on giant factions but only got notably 2 Skyfury Scimitar
It was rather depressing.

I had two legs while getting my robe, took me 1350 kills, so around 600 kills I would say...

I cant imagine the pain farming that armor on blue99 would be like, doing that alone would be hell. Hell obtaining a full set in pug groups back on live when the zone was crowded was hard enough as it is, but alone? yeesh. Idk... sounds like quite a quest I guess. Wont be finished too quickly so I can get behind that!

The leggings aren't all that rare. You could reasonably expect to get them after a few sessions. Bracer and neckpiece have to be the most common, along with boots and gauntlets. Breastplate actually seems to be more rare than the robe. The ultra-rare has got to be the shield, if it's even on the loot table (never seen one drop or linked as rotting).

I think it's gonna take me another 10 years before I decide to farm any of those items. Yuck sounds like hell.

Lots of sapphires, garg eyes, velium bricks, and spells as vendor loot. Decent farm for melee classes if you can avoid the adds / dispel the drake hastes. Definitely should listen to an audiobook or something while doing it though.

I disagree on the bp, had 2bp and two legs for one robe there are clearly some more common items, bracers, waist, shoulders... And some rarer, bp/legs/robe/shield/sword...

On the rares, on 1350 kills duly reported, I had 2legs,2bp,1robe,1sword,0shield...

Skyshrine is worse in my opinion

I lost count of kills but 2 robes, 2 swords, 1 bp, 0 shields, and at least 10 legs, if not more. The rest of the set are common enough though, agreed.

I see the legs as being pretty worth the effort. The robe is just a vanity item but I get why people camp it

When I was farming my robe, the BP was the only set item not to drop. I saw multiple bracers, swords, and helms. I spent many multi-hour sessions over weeks (probably 1000+ kills). It could have been just bad luck too.

Over around 2800 kills I saw:

18 bracers
12 leggings
16 boots
15 girdle
16 collar
17 gauntlets
17 pauldrons
10 helmet
7 arms
6 sword
2 breastplate
1 Robe

yay random. but yeah, leggings weren't that rare.

I farmed guardians purely for a robe on my bard on blue. I killed 12 spawns on rotation for about every day for about 1 month. Never got the robe, but got the full plate set for alts many times over. After the BP, which I only saw 3 of, legs I saw the next rarest.
