Unknown Error Has Occured

Getting this message when trying to log in from any of my computers, on any of the servers. I searched this problem and found many differing answers. Is anyone else experiencing this at the moment? Is this server-side or am I doing something wrong?

Delete thread -- hit "chat", it took my server list away, logged back in, and it worked.

This is happening to me as well. I can log in, but when I try to connect to a server, it just says "An unknown error has occurred"

this happened to me like 4-5 months ago while camping a guise...couldn't get back in and was on the /list being #1 on list (spent 12 hours there) - GMs did nothing, so i feel sorry for those at the manastone camp now logging out to switch people, etc...GMs won't do anything for yall.

I just got in. I will share my process. I got the unknown error message, at which point i clicked "Credits". I looked at the credits, noted the difference in staff between velious and PoP, and thought appreciative thoughts about Brad. After I clicked out of credits, my server list was gone so I clicked "Logout". I briefly considered moving on with my life, but instead I put in my login information one more time and that time it worked. Brad bless.

If you are running compatability mode, turn it off. This worked for me.
This worked for me!

I'll have the similar error when I log OFF that compatibility mode fixed, but at least i'll be able to log in.

This happened to me just recently during a drop transfer. Items rotted because I couldn't get back in. Still waiting on reimbursement. :(
