Jade inlaid crescent axe

I was selling one of these in EC for a while...eventually found a buyer at 5500. This axe is 32dmg 40dly 2hs +6 str/dex/agi +25hp...those are awesome stats, useable by war, rng, shd, pal...why was it so hard to sell? Is something compareable that sells cheap? I need to get this cleared up!

It's likely that the people with enough cash to buy one meet one of the following critera:

1. Already have something superior.
2. Aren't interested in twinking an alt.
3. Already have a twinked alt with something superior.

I have no facts to back this up, just my thoughts on possible reasons.

2h weapons are kinda funky for twinking.

You're best off with the fastest weapon you can find at low levels cause chances are good that you'll be hitting the dmg cap regardless (IE: Axe of the Iron back is a great lowbie twink). At 20 the cap is raised, but I'm not sure if completely gone, then at 30 it should be completely gone for sure where a weapon like this may come in handy.

From my observations there are far more Monk twinks right now then any other class so their items are really valuable while the other classes are less so.

The non-prime weapons are declining rapidly in value as the market becomes flooded here.
