I'm wanting to use my saved Character UI's from when I use to play, however there doesn't appear to be any Character UI's listed in the EQ Folder. Any suggestions?

Should be EQdirectory\uifiles\

note that just any UI doesnt work on p99, it has to be ported to work properly

More specifically I'm referring to this file settings:

Those files should be located at the root of your everquest directory.

If you do not have write access to that directory then I believe they are saved somewhere in app data, and shame on you for not having access to directories on your own computer!

No dice. I'm able to access the Root C:>Program Files (x86)>Sony>Everquest (folder) and nothing in the .txt section with my Characters names. Strange.

Thats because its probably in your Users/YOUR NAME folder. Just don't install ANY game in the /Program Files folder period. Windows has a huge lockdown on what can and cannot be done in there.

Ironically I can see my Characters .txt files on the Live version of the game (User/Public). I didn't have this issue with XP. I've discovered something all together new. When I go to my Users/Name I don't see anything P99 related.

Stupid question probably, but have you tried using the Windows search feature to locate the files?

Yep, the only results I get are the previously saved UI's.

I Conducted a Search in Folder Mode, at least the Search you use with the Explorer Window versus the Start Menu Search and I found the additional Sony Folder with the UI Configs (AppData).

From here I can make the necessary adjustments. I appreciate all your guys help. Win7 sure has some peculiar nuances.
