Game crashing when filtering a new chat window.

I just went to EC for the first time, spam bombed by auctions. 3 times now, I create a new chat window, filter auctions to it, then resize the window to very small so I don't have to see it. I've tried filtering then resizing, and then resizing then filtering. No matter what I do, my game crashes. Any solution for this??

Dont make the window so small, and just hide it behind your other window(s)

Well....yeah that makes sense lol. I did finally manage to find the right size to make it before crashing, but I like your idea better. Thanks for the reply!

A chat window set to an invalid size will crash the client. I just hit alt-o and turn off the auction channel unless I'm actually looking to buy or sell something.

Ha! You CAN leave chat channels!! I tried looking for that in ooc, but everyone told me to just filter it out. Thanks!!
