Suspended?

Last night I got trained to death and harassed in tells. Now I am suspended for standing up for myself and killing a couple mobs from the 8 camps they were camping after they trained me and harassed me. Is there anyway to get unsuspended? I was under the impression GMs would review the full logs and not a snippet that was reported by the cheater/griefers but that must not be the case as Im the one suspended for sticking up for myself against training, harassment, and multicamp monopolization.

Is there any way to get unsuspended? What recourse do I have for justice now?

I respect you’re candid and admit your own behaviour was not perfect either.

I suspect the best action you may be able to pursue is a counter suspension.

During both parties collective time off I suggest you meet irl, maintain social distancing, talk things over and make peace.

No. You're going to have to ride it out by playing other inferior games and muttering under your breath how much better they really are but you'll know the truth anyway.

As for justice I see a couple of ways. One is to set up a streaming and logging operation where everything is being recorded. Then innocently go by where those guys are and recreate the exact circumstances that you described before, with the harassment and the training. I'm sure if these guys are tools they will comply. Then you petition and the GM shows up and you tell him you have all this evidence and after that there's literally no telling what might happen except of course the justice. You might not like the literally no telling what might happen part but if you've ever been to actual court you understand.

The other way is this; petition their names. Find these guys, all of them. Follow them around, write down the names of the people they regularly group or hang with. Once you have a list of the original guys and all their associates, claim each and every name violates the naming policy, from being non-fantasy to being a sentence or something, like it's offensive in your mother tongue, whatever guttaral barks she uttered as she swaddled you is fine. Make sure you screenshot every petition. Wait a week. Post all the screenshots in Rants and Flames and ask if anything changed cause you just want to update your friends list.

Actually, according to the Venerable Fawdyer's Chapter H.R. 533, ratified by the Fier'Dal council just before the Age of Turmoil, it's not illegal to represent yourself before the GM's, only extremely foolish and that's why no one does it. It's no wonder young jeffrey has lost his case here.

Might I add they are not your typical customer service that you can Karen the shit out of, and they will continue to be subservient or tolerant of it.

If you run afoul of them and are disrespectful, crazy, etc they aren't going to put up with it and will treat you accordingly in the future.

Why does this read like some idiot got a hold of daddy's credit card and bought an account off some 3rd party site?

Can the GM's do an I.P. trace to find out if this account suddenly stopped being logged in from one place and started being logged in at another place? I know a lot of people solo mages (like me) but to be this big of a douche but not being known at 50 seems oddly out there.

That log left out the part where 2 people were taking 8 camps and left out the part where you admitted to training and rooting mobs on top of me while I tried to med up. You also left out the harassment in tells which is why I stopped responding to you. After I got my corpse you starting harassing me in /say and /ooc then so after about 30 minutes of your verbal harassment and constant prodding I reacted by standing up against a bully.

You left a lot out of your log but what I can see there is your strong desire to have all 8 camps and the joy you had from another player's grief.

I want to apologize to the entire EQ community for taking matters into my own hands instead of contacting a GM immediately. I am very sorry for lowering myself to this guys level, I truly am sorry.

Lol so you obnoxiously went and sat right on them at their pulling spot to med after attempting to steal their camp and then you’re shocked that they pulled a mob to their pull spot and rooted it there as they had been doing the entire time?

Give us a break. You weren’t purposefully trained. You were being a jerk and just seemed to forget about mob mechanics when you went and sat right in the middle of their pull spot. You showed up to the camp and didn’t like that it was occupied and just started pulling mobs instead of waiting your turn. Hopefully this changes to a ban, but based on your actions in this story I’m sure you will get banned for something else eventually.
