Client freeze when looking southish in OT Outpost

Recent install (<3 weeks) client freezes frequently when looking south or south/east inside outpost in Overthere. Thinking it's caused by the raft? Doesn't always freeze in outpost but when it does, it persists for a few minutes.

Windows 10 running in XP SP2 compatibility, affinity to single cpu, high priority. Freeze occurs on multiple characters. Nvidea GPU, AMD CPU. Let me know if any logs help.

Windows 10 really doesn't like this game. If I ctrl-alt-del and go to the task manager, or even just windows key-L to lock windows while EQ is running, the client freezes and I have to restart it. Running winxp service pack compatibility and all that

Is there a way to permanently set the affinity and priority for the game? I struggle with game freezes with a Nvidea RTX 2080, i9 9900k 8-core machine.
