Hi all,

Just started my first toon last night and would like to say the community on p1999 is great. Particularly, some higher level members of Transatlanic Rampage who were in the Cabilis newb areas handing out buffs and such (Franswa and Leod?) . This is what I loved about classic EQ.

Cheers

That's because you're not camping something they want yet. Give it time.

Franswa, you certainly were the most generous with gifts of plat and an item - just what a server fresh noob needs, thank you very much.

Just wanted to add in, was hunting in MM earlier and gosh darn if my name isn't Ripley... but believe it or not, our group accidentally pulled too many and had to train! Though I died before getting up the ramp, the rest of the group trained through a couple of people who were sitting near the zone line.

Never sit near the zone line, but in any case - a cleric turns up for a necro who died and I put 20pp towards his rez. Having died a couple of times myself, the cleric, who's name I forget (Arshis? / female high elf) not only rezzes him but rezzes me and a few others who had died in my group. No extra charge, didn't ask for it...just saw the box pop up on the screen.

Truly a fine community with great people. Of course there is always asshats, and I don't agree with a soloists dominating an area at the expense of 5-6 people who have to then look elsewhere (Highkeep goblins an example), but overall... P99 is a joy to play on :)
