U.S. sites interested in an investigation of a denial-of-service attack can contact their local FBI field office for guidance and information. For contact information for your local FBI field office, please consult your local telephone directory or see the FBI's contact information web page:

I am not sure with all the "information" why there has not been anything done.

I have a feeling that Penoy, the in-game spammer, and the DDoSer are all the same person. If we can only find a ninja to install some spy shit in his house...

Few problems:

We don't know whos doing it, and theres no way to track them.
And the FBI Won't even consider investigating a ddos case unless it has caused atleast $10,000 or more in damages. Since we aren't a registered business, maintain no income, nor charge people for any of our services, we don't qualify.

We all know he'll never succeed. The magic of this game and having a second or third screen for streaming sitcoms while trying to log in are too powerful. Give up, accept your gayness and reroll an erudite sk mr. Brad McQuaid!

It was my understanding that you had the information of the host ISP that is doing the DDOS attacks. It is also my understanding that the monetary amount does not matter as long as there is malicious intent.

I know that there have been incidents where students have performed attacks onto campus servers and was arrested and charged with a felony. Even though there was no actual infiltration.

You can create a non-profit business very easy (and fast) if you are being put off by that as well.

FBI Listens to money... And besides, schools are federal grounds. More likely to get action there.

You need to look up the definition of ddos again. Pay particular attention to the distributed keyword

well dont underestimate the F.B.I. they got other possibilities of tracking then you or a single ISP does ... they may as well just watch couple of that ddos hosts to see if 1 person connects to 1 or more of them etc. i'd give it a try tbh ... evil needs to be fought at all costs!
