Question about meditating

when i first installed the game my spellbook had a meditate button to push. then i installed the velious UI and now that button is not there.
i trained mediate at my trainer and its at level 5. but i havent seen it go up at all since then. do i need to change my UI to get that meditate button back? or is just having my spellbook open doing it and im just slow at leveling up?

If you're on Green you need to click the meditate button to meditate. On blue, sitting is enough once you put 1 point into the skill at a trainer.

Usually this is caused by one of two issues: Installing an incorrect (meaning old) version of the "velious UI" or changing the window background colors for the spellbook which can cause the button to disappear. It should always be visible when the spellbook is open.

Correct.

Anectdotal evidence: For both of my green chars that are 35+, the moment they made 35 sitting was enough for meditate mana regen.
