what happens when you get disconnect mid fight?

Does my pet die right away while the mob keeps killing me until he can kill me for 30 seconds? If i'm mid-cast, will my spell get off while i got disconnected?

I've been told that the pet stays alive and (usually) saves you, so if you crash a lot, a Mage might be a good choice for a main. I don't play a pet class though so don't take my word for it.

As for spells going off if they were mid-cast, someone else might know.

If you crash, you stay in game a while longer, maybe you kill the mob and live. If the server comes down, then everything stops and resets, most likely, meaning nothing will happen to you, cause the game has stopped

This. I crashed halfway into killing a crag spider earlier today, I was at 100% HP when it happened. Logged back in to a crag spider corpse and myself down to 12% HP and poisoned (and 8% when I finally managed to cure it). I felt like a boss.

Your character behaves like a NPC for the short time you're still in game but after you have gone LD. Usually the NPC version of you will just spam big nukes mixed with melee.

I just saw one the other day at seafuries. See some LD enchanter tanking a seafury, spamming nukes, and the LD character actually managed to kill the cyclops and then about 2 seconds later disappeared from the game.

Apparently the NPC version of me sucks balls though, since every single time I LD while fighting I come back dead. Shit, I've had it happen when I was at about 90% and the mob was at like 5%. It's like the LD version of me started nuking himself.

In classic when you went ld it would use your 1 and 2 hot keys over and over. I do not know about p99 tho. As for mid cast spells yeah they finish and your pet does has that 15min window like Arclyte noted is a not so nice troll way.

From personal experience, my Mage always laid waste to anything I was fighting. I would log back in OOM but Full Health.

The other night in Seb one of our Rogues went LD multiple times, everytime he was able to offtank, without heals, and solo frogs.

So I guess that getting disconnected mid-fight, in my experience, makes you a super being capable of laying waste to anything in your short lived LD tagged life.

As a bard I die everytime I LD it blows. As far as live experience goes, prior to LDoN I believe your character would act as a super badass npc until you dc'd completely. On Rallos it was common to find players who would purposefully LD mid fight for that reason. Your regen rate goes up significantly, you hit for max if I remember, atleast on live you broke damage caps, and your weapons will also proc like crazy, regardless of your level and the cap on the weapon.
