Error 1017

Hey hey... I'm trying to log in after a year or two away and get thrown back to the login window followed by an Error 1017 when I try to log in to either green or blue.

I know the FAQ says to report it in a separate thread but the last response there seems to be from 2015 so I'm guessing that's not how things are done any more. :)

Any suggestions please?

Oh... I haven't changed any hardware since I was last able to log in and this seems to be the error in the log file:

Try using a hotspot or VPN to rule out connectivity issues. Could be a routing issue on your ISPs end, and you just have to wait for them to resolve it.

Tried with a free VPN and it worked, thank you!

How odd, it worked fine with this same ISP beforehand, I wonder if there is any way to fix this without resorting to a VPN.

It's usually a routing issue on your ISPs side. Just try connecting normally from time to time and it should eventually work because they'll have realized and resolved it.
