Do you have the original one with the thousands of pixels on each side?

You can upload it to https://imgur.com/ and share the link with us :)

O cool i was (and slowly still am) been trying to reconstruct norrath's geo to be all connected, this is what your map looks like with actual meshes!

well, kinda, look how big rathe mountains would have be to link up with sk/lakerath smh

There's more pics here (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=363586)

Awesome, it’s all I ever wanted!!! If you could fix the scaling of it I’d buy that as a poster!

My favorite thing is getting to Karanas via Runnyeye / Gorge and also via Highpass

It's just cool they made two tricky routes to get to the west side of the continent. Then the SWAMP

It would have been cool if they made it LOTR style and all the routes were terribly treacherous.

Why is Permafrost missing?

so if i understand this correctly the rathe mountains piece connecting to lake rathe is not the actual size? is that right?

otherwise v nice work i would like to see the entire map connected as is in game from above if possible

pls

Yeah, you can see one rathe mountain just up from the feerrott, he left one kinda on its own, you can compare it to the map on the wiki, then above it he pasted a few more on top of each other so the space lined up.

ah, so a full interconnected map would look “wrong” if viewed from Norrarth airspace
is that right?

Basically. Best to think of our Rathe Mountains as a small section of the whole range

no i get it, just curious how it would look "as is" hehe
still a very nice map

heres a generic map i made for my book ill never finish writing. It's just one part of the world, but the center of the human civilizations biggest city, where our orphaned elf hero 's childhood trials would develop.

oh man I cant wait to read this book!

yeah its like a fine wine, just takes a decade or so to age(complete). I want to take the "world building" approach such as tolkein and george r.r. martin that I think it's fun to focus on the worlds history, regions, culture, religions, etc. so that you are not just reading a story, but a specific piece of that worlds history. It's a great excuse to avoid writing and working on other stuff instead. I can't wait to start figuring out the logic behind the economics of each city/town and how they interconnect to a giant human city.
