Power of Two UI for Project 1999 is an extensive update of Maktub's original UI from the EQMac server. It is a minimalist skin with smaller than default buttons and is currently incompatible with other EMU servers.

Recently, I was inspired and had enough spare time to work on a UI skin for the first time. I've admired the focus on efficiency and consistency of the original PoT skin since my short time playing EQMac. As such, PoT99 only uses Maktub's resized textures with a few minor edits.

Stability is a primary goal for this project, so I fixed all the errors that showed up in UIErrors.txt (save one) and have test driven the skin for a month. I believe I've had no UI-related crashes since then.

Favorite features:
The action window defaults to your social macros instead of the mostly useless "main" page.
The social macros are sized and spaced like hot buttons for fewer misclicks.
The combat ability, aka disciplines, window is sized like a standard hot button bar. And the duration gauge shows over top of your mana bar in the player window.
The biggest Follow button.

There are a few optional files included to accommodate different UI preferences:
Chat - No title for minimalists. Flat/Round title if you often use the minimize & close buttons.
Container - Each container window has a quick slot to swap clickies. Choose either the first or last inventory slot.
Group - Show/Hide F2-F6 key binds next to group HP gauges.
Layouts - Two screen layout presets are included for 1080p and lower screen resolutions. The Gap layout has a container-width gap next to the hot button window to swap equipment from a bag.
Pet Info - Show/Hide pet command buttons.
Spell Icons - Classic, Luclin, Titanium, and T.King sets are available. Post-classic sets have limited icon variety.

Feel free to use any piece of this UI in your own projects.

I like this a lot, but I can't seem to get the inventory hotbar to display. That's become pretty essential to how I play on Blue so if I'm missing a super simple way to get it to display (very likely), any help would be great!

Sorry, the first release only has the default hot button setup without integrated inventory slots. I've only really used the default and Velious UIs up to now, so I've made do with dragging inventory slots onto the out of reach hot buttons and placing a bag next to them.

Are you looking for something like Duxa with primary, secondary, and all bag slots? I can put that together.

I've uploaded a new version of the skin to EQInterface with an optional Extended Hot Button panel and fixes for a few minor oversights. The inventory slots on the extended panel are customizable, but they start as Primary, Secondary, and eight bag slots.

Green players should note that only the Velious skin will load until the end of the progression timeline.

Is there a remote chance of you fixing the track window to be scalable?

There's a new release up now which adds sizable window options for merchant and tracking windows. If you use this new option, there's a small handle near the top edge to move the window around.
The fixed-size 10-item/20-name versions are still the default.

Quick question: does the HP bar change color as it gets low (ie. going from green to red when you're low on HP)?

I know it's a stupid cosmetic thing I shouldn't care about, but having that feature in my UI has saved my distracted self many a time.

does that skin have different spell gem icons?

@loramin - The UI currently has a single-color HP gauge for the player and group members. While the multi-color implementation is quite clever, I've found it distracting/unappealing on other UIs. Especially with how the HP value tends to bounce up and down on p99. One day I may add a two-color option for low health, say, below/above 30%.

@enigma73 - I don't believe so. Their goal was to recreate the Velious UI as close as possible and there was very little customization for the interface prior to Luclin.

I've been using this UI for a long time. Fantastic works and clean! The only change I would like to see...

-The player window having the resists listed. It's a PITA to open inventory and select the resists tab. Then if the inventory window gets closed again it's repeat. Being a raid bard I need to keep those resists cranking. I've mistakenly run Melody of Ervaj which cancels the resists. Always good to have a visual confirm that they're hitting.

-Bags having a small drag box. I'm OCD about placement and constantly accidentally move the bag a dozen pixels out of place.
