Vessel Drozlin is a garbage camp and the GMs have ignored the evidence put forth in the bug post https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297386 that shows VD and VT have the same 2-4 day window.

Would it be possible to /list this spawn or create an arrangement where it wouldn't be a
sit and stare at the wall for 5 days scenario on Blue?

Currently there are 6 players standing at VD with several others in zone. There has to be another way.

Open to suggestions that don't include not getting the Enchanter epic, not having an Enchanter or getting gud.

Yep.. that's after half of us re-rolled as monks to stop the dumb skeletons from killing the watchers off..

This is weekly and it gets even worse. I have pictures of groups standing there, multiple charmed pets standing there etc..

Really unnecessary.

Hard = challenging, not sitting at a spawn for a week hoping to get a try at it.

Is there another epic quest spawn that is not triggered and is not an actual raid target like (VS etc..) that has a window and setup like VD? I haven't done every epic, so please let me know.

I slept at my computer for literally 7 days getting this spawn around a year ago. I was lucky that, for some reason, a GM showed up and declared it was my camp and kicked everyone out. I believe it was because they were using Ogre illusion to try and block us from getting out.

Yea, wasting large chunks of your life staring at a screen is neither 1) competition or 2) healthy for your mental health. It would be nice to have a player agreement with FFA on EQs.

Of course they should be, but they should be based on classic era game mechanics, and there seems to be strong evidence the current spawn window isn't classic.

You can either sit there for 7 days straits with matchsticks in your eyes, or be creative considering both VD and VT are casters.

The technique right now appears to be standing at the camp with your actual toon or with a better equipped toon and instant engage. There is almost no chance lately for someone who is on a watcher, someone who is sleeping or someone who doesn't have a small team of people camped there for you to call when you instant FTE him, to get their drop.

I'm not asking about how to use GINA to know he's spawned, I'm asking if there is a better way to handle the camp in general. GINA is just the same old same old for VD.

Alas I have been hanging out at VD for 10+ cycles now, casually most of the time while I work and logging it at night. Sometimes I do sit on my enc though to hope for a spawn while I'm going a bit harder or can commit more focus/time.

This is not a new development with the arrival of the raid bans and I'm fairly confident that it will not be alleviated by a return to raiding for the raiders, of which I am one.

The time for shorter spawn times and instances is now. :D If people want the true EQ experience, let them go to green which is on autopilot. I say let the epic monster spawns be on 2 or 3 hour timers like the Chardok Royals. For monsters that offer more than just epic quest loot such as the dragons or gods, offer instancing options and be done with the drama.
