Client Freeze in LoiO

Leveling up in LoiO newbie zone right now and around the zoneline to Cabilis my client freezes rather often. Looking to the ruins surrounding zoneline triggers this too, but I havent manage to identify a special pattern. As my character is only lvl 3 right now, I didnt go further into LoiO to check if that issue is still a thing there.

Had no problems for like 30min, then freeze, restarted client, 2sec then freeze again.

edit: no issues in Field of Bone or Warsliks Woods. Game sounds and everything appears to run as normal, but graphics just freeze.

Having similar client freezing issues, although mine occur from East Cab into FoB. Client hangs, becomes unresponsive and necessitates a restart. Which sometimes crashes again, so I have short cycle of doom :D

My toon is stuck right now in TT at the Emperor room.

I log in but my screen freeze either in the charakter selection or 1sec after I am in game.

Ive started my orginal EQ folder with vanila files and I still keep crashing

This is happening to me after I zoned to OT from SF....im basically stuck in a LD loop, after i'm onine for a few seconds my screen freezes. But I can still move and cast spells, as I can hear it. So it's a graphics glitch, not DC.

i had this same issue in feerrott, but I'm on Linux, i just deleted my wine config and reinstalled my dxvk

for windows you will have to reinstall your graphics software or

Client is freezing in Lake of Ill Omen - only place it seems to be happening.
Windows 10 - fresh install of video drivers.

Same. spent all day in FoB/Cab, but LOIO causes a client freeze within 10 minutes, always when facing Cab.

I am freezing here and there in GFay and Felwithe.

i had this happen in overthere and skykire zone lines.
basically delete your <char name>.ini file and ui_<char name>.ini in your eq directory.

Then from a friend get a fresh copy of their zone file you are crashing in and replace it in your eq directory. solved my issue.
