Why do I still only have 6 hotkey buttons? When are we getting the 8 keys? Or is that just my UI doing that?

If you can prove it, send it to the devs and they'll change it. I don't think you're correct, though.

No, in classic everquest you have 6 buttons on the original UI, and in the velious additional UI it stayed as 6, but was updated to 8 a little after velious.

All images of classic EQ show the 6 buttons, the evidence is way way overwhelming as it is.

You should have 6 hotkeys in this era.

You will receive the additional hotkeys when appropriate on the timeline.
