The game client freezes the moment I log into the world. I get a less than 5 second glimpse of the game world and then it freezes. Played all night the night before it started and then since yesterday morning I am essentially locked out.
I have attempted a fresh install with no luck.
Help please!
Sincerely,
Crimzen
I had a glitch that kept me from playing and it went away after I used Duxa's all in one thingy that you can find in the technical area. I am not at all technically gifted at all so thankfully this fixed any problems I was having.

Try running WinEQ2 (free edition). Will solve most problems.

Total technical noob but I've had some graphics issues with Titanium, tried Duxa but having different graphical issues.
How does WinEQ2 operate? Would it require a fresh install of what is currently Titanium? :P

Something important that you forgot to mention there is that it is only on one particular toon. Any other toon he tries to play works just fine. all in the same zones.
He also doesn't seem to have any .ini files in the EQ directory.
And Swish WinEq2 would not require a fresh reinstall. you go ahead and install it onto your machine and can then connect through it to p99 - it solved my game play issues I had from my dual core laptop.

Perhaps try deleting/renaming the character specific ini files in the Everquest directory? Search the folder for the name of your character and rename them

Worst case scenario if the other things don't work, try a fresh instal. Looks to me like you have some corrupt files which this would sort (albeit being a pain in the backside).

It sounds like he doesn't have permission to write to the folder anymore. I'd try moving the folder and reapplying the permissions on it.

If he's running Windows 7 or any other 64-bit operating system, the .ini files aren't in the default EQ directory. Check C:\Users\%username%\App Data\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files(x86)\Sony
