So i died on my way to the orc fort. The chief was killed and i looted the head but the turn in guy despawned. Am i screwed? has this happened to anyone else

Yes, you cant turn it in on another persons, it makes guy disappear. make new ring 7, win again, and turn in head you have now. sorry you dont got ring 8

Having someone loot the head doesn't serve any purpose if you're the one turning in your previously failed attempt, they'd be in the same boat you were just in.
